When my great, great grandfather, Ike Hill, took a job as a Butcherboy on a convict ship bound for Australia in 1854 little did he know that 5 generations later the family business would still be in operation. Since then, we have learnt to satisfy the needs of the most discerning customers throughout Australia and in fact the world.

In 2008, I decided it was time to update the business model and take our premium quality meats to the broader Melbourne community and launch butcherboy.com.au.

Gourmet quality beef, lamb and chicken products: I carefully select my products from trusted suppliers and ages the beef and lamb products to optimise tenderness and taste.

To protect your family I only buy meats and chicken that are free of hormones and antibiotics, thereby giving you the most natural product possible.

Delivered free to your door: I will deliver your order to your door at a time convenient to you. Orders for most Melbourne metropolitan suburbs are delivered within 48 hours and are free for orders over $50.
